Begin to love, heal and accept "you" in your new life after loss

It is a myth that time alone will take care of grief. Many are waiting a very long time to find happiness again. The fact is time alone is not enough to complete the grieving process.

There are specific steps that are required for your heart to recover from tragedy and loss so you can find happiness again.

Some people go through some of the steps of grief recovery over time, but rarely do people go through all of the steps for significant losses in their lives.

When grief is incomplete it restricts energy and hinders us from living the abundant, joyful life we long for.

Perhaps you wish to complete the unfinished business surrounding your loss. This is an opportunity to explore your relationship with your loss in a safe, supportive environment. Counselling can allow for someone to listen compassionately as you process the emotions surrounding bereavement.

Perhaps you feel you may need to get in touch with the experiences and emotions that are often avoided while trying to keep up with daily responsibilities;  explore the meaning of this loss in your life. Counselling can be an essential part of the recovery process; providing a safe space to talk about your loss and how it impacts you, your life and your identity today.

In almost every difficulty in life there is an element of grief and loss. With specialized training in grief support your counsellor is prepared to help you take the next steps toward healing.
