Healing, Clarity, and Rebuilding After Separation
Divorce is one of the most emotionally complex transitions a person can experience. Even when the decision is mutual or necessary, the process can bring grief, confusion, identity shifts, and overwhelming change. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
I’m certifed in grief counselling as well as divorce recovery. I also offer a group educational 10 week program for indvudals going through divorce. I help individuals at every stage of divorce—before, during, and after—to help you regain stability, rebuild your sense of self, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Divorce, separation, break-ups are confusing times. During this time the “we” we once identified with shifts to now a “me”; and finding us or “me” again can be both a challenging and rewarding journey. We are also dealing with grief and loss and perhaps a change in custody schedule to living arrangements, friendship groups and financial change. For some, grief and loss impacts them immediately and for others it may truly impact them a year or two after. Maybe it’s after you tried to date or had perhaps another relationships after your divorce that didn’t work out. Our timeline is our own when we grieve and for each person it’s unique how we process it and when we feel we need more support to get through these changes.
Another impact of divorce is dealing with all the aspects of paper work to lawyer meetings to even court dates. If life was busy before divorce we may be feeling burned out with all this extra tasks and mental load. We may be overwhelmed with so much to do and handle and or feeling alone in your experience with no one to turn to or understand how your feeling. If this is the case reach out today for counselling. You do not have to do this on your own and I can provide tools and counselling to help you through this and onwards to your journey towards divorce recovery.
