Experience You Can Trust, Empathy You Can Feel

As a therapist, I bring not only professional expertise but also the invaluable perspective of real-life experience. In my mid-40s, I have navigated life’s complexities and joys, equipping me with a deep understanding of the struggles and triumphs that shape us all.

From parenting a spirited teenager to facing the challenges of ADHD diagnoses, postpartum depression, career transitions, and personal loss, I understand life’s highs and lows firsthand. These experiences have taught me resilience, compassion, and the power of connection—qualities I now bring into the therapy room.

I believe that healing and growth come from being truly seen and understood. My own journey allows me to empathize deeply with my clients, offering a safe and supportive space where they can explore their challenges and rediscover their strengths. Whether you’re facing personal struggles or seeking a path toward fulfillment, I am here to walk alongside you with understanding, wisdom, and care.

Our Unique Approach

At Yellowfinch, we recognize that each individual and couple’s journey is as unique as the challenges they face, the resources they possess, and the experiences they’ve navigated. We honor your personal path, meeting you where you are and aligning with your goals for healing, growth, and transformation.

When you choose me as your counsellor or coach, it is my privilege to walk alongside you on your journey. At Yellowfinch, counselling and coaching are collaborative, holistic processes. Together, we embark on a shared path of healing and self-discovery, creating a supportive, tailored space for you to explore your deepest needs, life goals, and purpose.

Yellowfinch Counselling & Wellness Inc. provides so much more than just a counselling or coaching session. Depending on your unique needs, learning styles, and healing process, we offer tailored resources such as articles and exercises to support you between sessions. Our dedicated team prides itself on developing strong, meaningful connections with our clients to ensure successful outcomes.

We are not a large clinic or an impersonal online platform with hundreds of counsellors.

Yellowfinch is a small, caring Canadian clinic, expanding by hiring one more clinician, and we are wholeheartedly committed to supporting our clients. You are never just a number here—you are valued, understood, and cared for.

Many of our clients share with us how grateful and happy they are to have found our practice. Let us support you on your journey.
